How are orders sent?
Via the United States Postal Service.

How long before I receive my tapes?
The Post Office advises waiting 4-6 weeks before inquiring about an order. This is as good a rule of thumb as any, because frankly - after sending out thousands of packages over the years we've yet to find in any rhyme or reason in the way things work at the Post Office. We've seen packages of the same weight sent to the same destination on the same day with the same amount of postage arrive weeks apart.

Do you carry DVDs?
Yes! Please check our DVD page often; we are adding more discs all the time.

Do you ship tapes outside the U.S.?
Yes, we send tapes to customers all over the world. Consult the postal chart above for rates to your area.

Can I get my tapes in PAL?
Yes, tapes are available in NTSC American Standard, PAL or SECAM. Please indicate with your order that you want PAL or SECAM tapes. Please note: PAL and SECAM conversions are generally of slightly lesser quality, so if you have a multi-format deck, we suggest you order NTSC tapes.

Can I use my credit card to order?
At present we accept only checks or money orders (in U.S. funds) sent to Scorched Earth Productions, P.O. Box 101083, Denver, CO 80250.

Do the tapes cost less if I order a lot of them?
Sorry, we don't offer wholesale or other discounts.

What's your phone number?
We don't conduct business over the phone.

Do you rent tapes?
No.

If I don't like a tape can I have my money back?
Sorry, that amounts to a free rental - a setup that would put us out of business in no time.

Can I get ‘bootleg’ videos from you?
Not if we can help it! To the best of our knowledge, all items offered for sale are either made available by the respective copyright owner and/or their licensees or are in the public domain. Owners are encouraged to report unauthorized material so that we can promptly remove it from our listings.

What happens if a tape arrives damaged?
Send it back to us and you'll immediately be issued a duplicate copy.

Will my name be put on any mailing lists?
No! We don't sell names and we don't even maintain a mailing list ourselves. We send out information with each order, but if you stop ordering you won't hear from us again.

Is there anything on the package that indicates what's inside?
Absolutely not - all parcels are sent in discreet, plain packaging.
